Kirschenbaum comes to Marist after coaching at the Premier Soccer Academy (PSA). At PSA, he coached elite club teams across Long Island and ran various camps with players ranging from 4-18 years of age. Also during his tenure, Kirschenbaum oversaw the Lynbrook Soccer Club's Academy Program, which consisted of the club’s boys’ and girls’ U8 and U9 teams. Additionally, he was in charge of designing the program's curriculum as well as all of the training and coaching.
Adding to his experience, Kirschenbaum also coached for the Oceanside Soccer Club, Lake Grove Newfield Soccer Club and the One Plus Academy in Lansing, N.Y. Currently, he is a coach for the Eastern New York North Olympic Developmental Program (ODP).
Kirschenbaum played soccer at SUNY Cortland, where he was a two-time SUNYAC All-Academic Team honoree. He graduated from Cortland with a B.S. in psychology with summa cum laude honors.
He played in the Premier Developmental League (PDL) for the Westchester Flames, while also playing in the First Division of the Cosmopolitan League with the Manhattan Celtic. Kirschenbaum is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and holds his Advanced National Diploma and National Goalkeeping Diploma.
A native of Oceanside, N.Y., he currently resides in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
