  • Season canceled due to disruptions from the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
2019-20 Senior Year
Accolades: MAAC All-Academic Team, MAAC Swimmer of the Week (1/29)
  • Set a program record in the 100-yard back with a time of 55.64.
  • Set a program record in the 50-yard back with a time of 25.92.
  • Placed 5th in the 100-yard back in the ECAC Championships.
  • Won the silver medal in the 200-yard back at the MAAC Championships..
  • Placed 3rd in the 100-yard back at the MAAC Championships.
  • Won the 100-yard back at the H20unds Invitational.
  • Part of the 200-yard medley relay team that took first place against SCSU.
  • Finished first in the 100-yard back against Canisius, Colgate, Fairfield, Bryant, and Biunghamton.
  • Won the 200-yard back against Binghamton, Fairfield, and Colgate, 
 
2018-19 Junior Year
Accolades: MAAC All-Academic Team.
  • Competed in four events at the ECAC Championships, earning fifth in the 200-yard backstroke
  • Swam in six events at the MAAC Championships, setting nine personal bests and achieving four top-ten finishes:
    • Second in the 50-yard freestyle
    • Sixth in the 100-yard backstroke
    • Fourth in the 200-yard backstroke
    • Tenth in the 100-yard butterfly
  • Won both the 100- and 200-yard backstroke against Binghamton and Fairfield
  • Took second in the 100- and 200-yard backstroke at the H2ounds Inviational
 
General
Prior to Marist: A transfer from Binghamton University, Nowak also had a decorated high school career at Secaucus. She earned either All-Conference or All-County honors in 29 events in four years in New Jersey, including an All-County selection in the 100-yard backstroke. She holds four NJIC Championship meet records and won the conference's sportsmanship award.

Nowak earned national recognition when she picked up the United States Army Reserve Scholar-Athlete Award in high school. She was president of the National Honor Society and a member of four other honor societies: Mu Alpha Theta, American Technology, Foreign Language, and English. She earned the President's Award for Educational Excellence.
