- Won the MAAC Championship in the 200-yard butterfly.
- Finished fourth in the 100-yard butterfly at the MAAC Championships.

- Placed first in the 200-yard butterfly against Fairfield.

Zanella was a USA swimming sectionals qualifier and New England Seniors Finalist. She was a member of the Bluefish Swimming National National Team, and also participated in the USA swimming sectionals qualifiers. Zanella was a member of National Honor Society as well as the National Society of High School Scholars.
