2017-18: Swam three events at MAAC Championships: 100-yard freestroke, 100- and 200-yard backstroke...took home the silver in the 100 freestroke (55.12) and placed fifth in the 200 backstroke (2:07.37)...Placed first in the 200-yard backstroke at Southern Connecticut...Had another first place finish in the 200-yard backstroke against Fairfield.

2016-17: Finished first in the 200-yard backstroke in the regular season matchup with Boston College on Jan. 14... Competed in four events in the MAAC Championships, including a first place finish in her heat in the 100-yard freestyle (54.81) and third place in the 200-yard backstroke (2:05.65)... Competed in four events in the ECAC Championships, including a fourth place finish as a member of Marist's 400-yard medley relay squad (3:56.43).

2015-16: Was the runner up in the 100-yard backstroke vs. Fairfield (1:02.19)... Finished third in the 100- (1:01.99) and 200-yard backstroke (2:09.78) at Rider... Competed in four events at the MAAC Championships: the 100- and 200-yard freestyle and the 100- and 200-yard backstroke.

2014-15: Placed in the top five in all three events against Canisius... During the ECAC Championships she placed 15th in the 200-yard backstroke (2:10.24).

Prior to Marist: Purvis comes to Marist as a member of the top 16 in the 100- and 200-yard backstroke in the state of Connecticut. She was a sectional qualifier in the 100- and 200-yard backstroke and a seven-time qualifier. Academically, she graduated with honors while holding positions on the Student Council Club and Senior Executive Board.
