A local product, Burda swam for the Red Fox Aquatic Club while attending Arlington High School. Burda's main event is the backstroke, and she tallied a career-best time in the 100-yard back at the 2019 MR Metro, clocking in at 1:04.11. Her last time out, she finished in ninth in the 200-yard back at the MR COND Last Chance with a time of 2:25.63.
