Kenneth McGovern is entering his third year in the Sports Information Department as Assistant Sports Information Director.
McGovern currently serves as the primary contact for the baseball, men’s soccer, men’s and women’s swim and dive programs, and women’s water polo.
McGovern was SID for the men's swim and dive 2024 MAAC Championship Team in Geneva, Ohio, curating content for the team.
McGovern also serves as Lead Graphic Designer for Marist Athletics. McGovern leads student interns in graphic design to develop the branding for Marist Athletics and on-time graphics.
McGovern graduated from St. Bonaventure University in the Spring of 2022. McGovern earned a degree in Sports Media from the Jandoli School of Communications. McGovern finishes his Masters degree in Marketing from Marist College in 2025.
McGovern has previously worked as an intern for the Hudson Valley Renegades (High-A Yankees Affiliate) as a member of the media team in the summer of 2021. He has also had experience with video and audio production on ESPN+ at St. Bonaventure.
McGovern previously worked as a journalist, being a beat writer for St. Bonaventure men’s and women’s basketball teams.
In his free time, McGovern created a multimedia outlet Cellar Dweller Entertainment, which runs out graphics, video highlights, and previously a podcast.
McGovern resides in Hopewell Junction with his parents and sister.
