Biography
2014-15: MAAC All-Academic Team - The team captain battled injury throughout her senior year and finished 0-4 in singles play but 5-9 in doubles play. Teamed up with Callie Morlock, the duo posted a 5-5 overall record and went 4-3 in conference while playing from the second doubles position. Tahir played her singles matches from the second, third, and fourth position.
2013-14: MAAC All-Academic Team – Tahir recorded a 3-5 singles record this season with a 3-1 MAAC mark. She finished 3-3 in doubles action, notching all three wins with Karly Pang.
2012- 2013: First Team All-MAAC… Finished 13-4 overall giving her the best winning percentage on the team… She won the third most matches for the Red Foxes… Won five consecutive matches from Mar. 20- Apr. 28. Was able to win four straight doubles matches from Oct. 18- Mar. 1.
2011-12: Won 11 singles matches as a freshman, tied for second most on the team ... Split her playing time between the #4 and #5 positions ... Went 4-2 in conference play ... Won four of her final five matches versus MAAC opponents ... Was defeated in the semifinals of the Marist Invitational by Providence's Karen Ramirez after beating Siena's Brittany Filip and Saint Peter's Linnea Enoh-Jansson in the Round of 16 and Quarterfinals, respectively ... Competed in 21 doubles matches and posted an 8-13 record, 3-4 in the MAAC.
Prior To Marist: Played varsity tennis for Yonkers High School.
