Prior to Marist
  • Nielsen is a 2024 graduate of Hightstown High School, where she played volleyball and ran cross country.
  • Position: Short sprints (100m, 200m).
  • Personal best in high school: 100m in 12.8 seconds.
  • As a sophomore, her team broke the record for the 4x100m relays and the 800m sprint medley.
At Marist
  • Plans to study biomedical science at Marist.
  • A part of the Honors Program and a Presidential Scholarship recipient.
General
  • Daughter of Rebecca Nielsen.
  • Has an older brother, Cody, and a twin sister, Maja.
  • Her twin sister, Maja, is currently playing soccer for the University of Bridgeport. Her mother, Rebecca, played volleyball in college.
  • Loves to snowboard and participate in volunteer work in her free time.
  • Was a Girl Scout for 8-10 years and completed several community service projects.
