Ianeta comes to Marist from Arizona State by way of New Zealand.
Most recently, she was the ASU team captain during the 2014 season, a season in which the Sun Devils appeared in the NCAA tournament. Hutchinson was the recipient of the Elite 89 Award for having the highest GPA in all of collegiate water polo. A double major in Psychology and Sociology, Hutchinson served as a teaching assistant in the Psychology department during her final years at ASU while still playing Division I water polo.
Ianeta has extensive international experience, having participated on the New Zealand Junior and Senior National Teams. During the summer of 2013, Hutchinson competed in the FINA World Championships in Barcelona, Spain.
Ianeta will work primarily with the goalkeepers and her specialty of team defense.
Hutchinson is originally from Auckland, New Zealand and currently resides in Poughkeepsie, NY.
