2014: Team Captain…Chavez started and appeared in all 37 of the Red Foxes’ outings this season…She led the team in steals with 54…Chavez was also second for Marist in ejections drawn (36), fourth in assists (35), fifth in field blocks (3), and sixth in goals (29) for a .354 shooting percentage…She posted 19 multi-point games, 11 of those being multi-goal outings...Against Hartwick on Feb. 2, she posted a season-high four ejections drawn, as well as four steals on the defensive end…She added to her season-highs, notching six steals against Gannon on April 6…Chavez claimed a season-high three assists against San Diego on March 8…She notched a season-high three goals as well as five points twice this season…Chavez tallied three goals and two assists against both Gannon (April 6) and VMI (April 12)…In the Semi-Finals against Iona, she aided the Red Foxes to victory with one goal and one assist…In the MAAC Championship Finals, Chavez also posted two more goals for Marist.

2013: Appeared in all 37 games as a junior… Tied for seventh on the Red Foxes with 50 points, seventh in goals with 25 and sixth with 25 assists – all of which were career-highs for her… Scored on 45.5% of her shots, which was second on the team… Had 41 steals which was the eighth highest total on the team… Had multi-point efforts in 12 games, including four games with multi goals… Had a season-high seven points on April 13 vs. VMI, scoring a career-high five goals and assisting on two others… Scored three goals and had three assists for six points on April 14 vs. Villanova. 

2012: Played in all 38 contest for the Red Foxes... Accumulated 22 goals on 38 shots with a shot percentage of .579%... She finished the season with 13 assists, 26 steals and 15 ejections drawn... Had a career game on 3/10 vs. Gannon scoring four goals and assisting on four others while adding a steal in a 16-6 win... Had a goal, two assists, three steals and two field blocks on 3/25 vs. VMI... Scored three on 4/7 vs. VMI... Had a two-goal performance on 4/14 vs. St. Francis (N.Y.) and followed that up with a goal and an assist vs. Wagner on the same day.

2011: Played in all 39 games for the Red Foxes during her freshman campaign ... Finished as the leading first-year scorer on the Red Foxes with 24 points on 16 goals and eight assists ... Scored first collegiate goal on February 20 at home versus #15 Hartwick ... Scored four goals versus Connecticut College on April 2 ... Netted three goals at Villanova on April 24.

Prior to Marist: Chavez's high school team, Mother Mcauley, won a state championship in 2007. In addition, she served as team captain while earning All-State and All-Section honors.
