Caroline Baratta was promoted to Assistant AD/Business Operations in August of 2026. She began her tenure in the department's Business Office in December of 2023.
Baratta oversees ticket operations, department corporate card activity, and all facets of usage for department vehicles. She handles payment of department invoices and assists with coordinating team travel, varsity sports budgets, and purchasing.
Baratta is a two-time Marist graduate (Bachelor's in 2021, Master's in 2023) who also served as an assistant coach for the Marist softball team in the 2023 and 2024 seasons. Marist captured the MAAC championship in 2023 and won the regular-season title in 2024.
Baratta enjoyed a standout career as a five-year student-athlete as a member of the Marist softball team both on the field and in the classroom. She is the program's all-time hits leader, the only two-time MAAC Defensive Player of the Year in the conference's softball history, a four-time First Team All-MAAC selection, and the 2018 MAAC Rookie of the Year. A three-year captain, Baratta was Marist's NCAA Woman of the Year nominee in 2022. She was a two-time Academic All-District selection who made the Dean's List in all eight of her semesters as an undergraduate.
Baratta majored in Business Administration as an undergraduate. She earned her Bachelor's degree in 2021, and her MBA in 2023.
