Caroline Baratta is serving as Marist's Athletics Business Manager. She was originally hired as assistant business manager in December of 2023.
Baratta is a two-time Marist graduate (Bachelor's in 2021, Master's in 2023) who also served as an assistant coach for the Marist softball team in the 2023 and 2024 seasons. In her first season as an assistant coach in 2023, Marist captured the MAAC championship.
Baratta enjoyed a standout career as a five-year student-athlete as a member of the Marist softball team both on the field and in the classroom. She is the program's all-time hits leader, the only two-time MAAC Defensive Player of the Year in the conference's softball history, a four-time First Team All-MAAC selection, and the 2018 MAAC Rookie of the Year. A three-year captain, Baratta was Marist's NCAA Woman of the Year nominee in 2022. She was a two-time Academic All-District selection who made the Dean's List in all eight of her semesters as an undergraduate.
Baratta majored in Business Administration as an undergraduate. She earned her Bachelor's degree in 2021, and her MBA in 2023.
