Dean Darling, who has been the voice of Marist men’s basketball on television and radio for the past four decades, joined the Marist Athletics Department as Marketing Specialist/Sponsorships in the 2022-23 school year.

For 37 years, Darling worked as a Regional Account Executive selling Television Advertising for Cablevision and Spectrum TV. He won numerous awards for outstanding sales achievements for sales exceeding one million dollars and helping clients achieve their annual goals.

Darling’s extensive broadcast career also includes 45 years as the color analyst for the Army (West Point) Football Radio Network. He is also the former play-by-play voice of the MAAC TV Women’s Game of the Week.

Darling is married to his wife, Suzanne. They have two children, Annie Rose and Jack.
