Griffin Langiu was hired as Assistant Football Athletic Trainer at Marist in September of 2026.
In this position, Langiu will provide football coverage along with head football athletic trainer Isabella Lourie, and he is also working with the Red Foxes’ water polo team.
Langiu gained valuable clinical experience at Marist in the spring semester of 2026. During this time, he worked with the Red Foxes’ football, men’s basketball, and baseball teams. He also had clinical experience in the spring and fall semesters of 2025 at his alma mater, SUNY Cortland, where he worked with the football and lacrosse programs. In the fall of 2024, he worked with athletes across multiple sports at Union-Endicott High School.
A Dutchess County product, Langiu is a native of Dover Plains. He started his collegiate education at Dutchess Community College, where he majored in Exercise Science, before transferring to SUNY Cortland. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 2023, and his Master of Science in Athletic Training in 2026.
