Nick Skidmore was hired as Marist’s Director of Athletic Multimedia in January 2021.
Prior to his arrival at Marist, Skidmore had most recently worked at Tulane University for two-and-a-half years. In his most recent role, he produced ESPN broadcasts for men’s and women’s basketball and shot in-house intro videos for football, baseball, and basketball. He created in-game graphics and elements for streams and produced GIFs for several teams.
As a graduate assistant at Tulane from 2017-19, Skidmore directed and produced streams and worked replay for various sports. He also shot and edited highlights in a cinematic style and produced content for streams and several programs.
Skidmore worked in a minor league baseball as an intern for the Akron RubberDucks in their championship season of 2016. The RubberDucks are the Double-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians.
Skidmore earned a Master’s degree in Liberal Arts from Tulane in 2020. He received his B.A. in Sports Media with an emphasis in Broadcast Production from Oklahoma State in 2017.
A native of Alliance, Ohio, Skidmore lives in Pleasant Valley with his wife, Meredith, and their daughter, Carter.
