Lauren Amundson

11397 Lauren Amundson was hired as head coach of the Marist volleyball program on March 27, 2015. In her first two seasons she has helped the Red Foxes earn a quarterfinal round bye and the no. 2 seed in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships. She has guided Marist to an overall record of 49-43, including 36-18 in MAAC play. Amundson previously led Stonehill College to its greatest level of success in program history, as the Skyhawks made their first two appearances in the Division II NCAA Tournament. 11401

  • Led Marist to its second most single-season win total with a 21-10 overall record and the no. 2 seed in the MAAC Championships in 2015.
  • Got an All-MAAC First Team selection in Kelsey Lahey and two All-Second Team recipients in Amanda Schlegel and Courtney Shaw in 2015.
  • Helped Courtney Shaw become the program’s first ever candidate for the Senior CLASS Award in 2015.

  • Pushed Skyhawks to a 110-68 (.618) overall record with a mark of 61-27 (.693) in Northeast Conference play.
  • Helped guide Stonehill to its first NE-10 regular season championship in program history and a Division II NCAA Tournament appearance in 2014. Earned her 100th career victory that same season.
  • Coached Stonehill’s first NE-10 Player of the Year and first two AVCA Honorable Mention All-Americans in 2014.
  • Led Stonehill to its first NCAA Tournament appearance in program history and was named NE-10 Coach of the Year in 2011.
  • Teams were active with Be The Match, the James Wright 5K, National Girls and Women in Sports Day, Special Olympics and Team IMPACT.
