Jannelle Iaquinto is in her third season as an assistant coach on Joe Ausanio's staff at Marist for the 2017 season.

Iaquinto works with the Red Foxes' pitchers, and also coaches first base. In each of her first two seasons, a Red Fox has been named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year: Melanie White (2015) and Jayne Oberdorf (2016). Three pitchers have also earned All-MAAC honors during Iaquinto's tenure. White was named First Team All-MAAC in 2015, Oberdorf was named First Team All-MAAC in 2016, and Jessica Van Alphen was named Second Team All-MAAC in 2016. Additionally, Megan Beiermeister was named to the MAAC All-Rookie Team in 2016 after winning her first 12 decisions of the season.

In 2016, Iaquinto helped the Red Foxes achieve their best season in program history. Marist won a program-record 45 games, and captured both the MAAC regular-season and tournament championships.

Iaquinto came to Marist with a wealth of experience as a player and a coach. She has previously held coaching positions at Merrimack College, Suffolk University, Emerson College and Lesley University.

In the 2013 and 2014 seasons at Lesley University, Iaquinto recorded 45 combined wins with a 34-2 conference record. She led the Lynx to two NECC titles and two NCAA Tournament appearances. In 2013 and 2014, Iaquinto coached 10 NECC All-Conference Players, the NECC Rookie of the Year and two NFCA All-Region Players. Under her direction, the 2014 Lesley University pitching staff recorded seven shutouts while holding opponents to a .274 batting average and maintain a 1.19 ERA in conference play.

In her playing career, Iaquinto pitched for MAAC rival Siena.
