Marist Men's Cross Country Compete at Paul Short Invitational

Final Stats

Bethlehem, PA---The Marist College men's cross country team placed 16th out of 39 teams at the 28th annual Paul Short Invitational, held Saturday at Lehigh University. The Red Foxes finished with 440 points.

Leading the way for the Red Foxes was sophomore Kirk Dornton (Syracuse, NY), who was 51st overall in 25:51.16. Senior co-captains Mike Nehr (West Babylon, NY) and Pat Driscoll (Congers, NY) were next, finishing 67th (26:02.56) and 87th (26:13.25), respectively. Sophomore Jason Grady (Clinton Corners, NY) and junior Jamal Padgett (Syracuse, NY) rounded out the scoring team for Marist, with 115th place (26:35.84) and 131st place (26:45.43). There were 274 runners in the varsity race.

Next up for the Red Foxes is the Albany Invitational on Saturday, October 13.
