MONTGOMERY, N.Y. – The Marist men's cross country team finished third overall at the 2025 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championships, hosted by Manhattan University at Twin Ponds on the Farm.
The Red Foxes totaled 85 points, finishing behind champion Iona and runner-up Siena. Marist's top five runners all placed inside the top 25, continuing the program's trend of strong championship performances.
Logan Schaeffler paced Marist with a 14th-place finish in 24:54.9 over the 8K course. He was followed closely by
Raffi Buchakjian in 15th at 24:57.6, and
Jackson Borge in 16th with a time of 24:58.3. Rounding out the Red Fox scoring were
Miles Chamberlain in 18th at 25:02.2 and
Kieran Donnelly in 22nd at 25:09.0.
Isaac Gross finished in 23rd at a time of 25:11.2 to earn MAAC All-Rookie Team honors.
Marist edged Rider and Canisius for the third spot, posting its best MAAC team finish since 2016.
The Red Foxes now turn their attention to the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships later this month.
