New Rochelle, NY. - The Marist College volleyball team lost a straight set match 3-0 to host Iona this evening in New Rochelle, NY. The Red Foxes lost the three games by scores of 30-22, 30-24, and 30-17.

Senior Julie Gosewisch (Severna Park, MD) who recorded 11 kills and nine digs paced the Marist attack. Freshman Ryann Gillen (Paola, KS) also hit the ball well knocking down four kills in ten attempts with no errors on her way to a .400 hitting percentage.

Iona received a ten kill, 12 dig effort from Kathy Kunath and 11 kills a piece from Kathleen Owen and Julie Cycon.

The Red Foxes next game will be at home in the McCann Center at 8:00 PM this Thursday, November 8th. They will then be playing host to Manhattan at 1:00 PM Sunday, November 11th before closing out the regular season on Senior Night, Wednesday, November 14th at 7:00 PM against Binghamton.
