Jersey City, NJ - St. Peter's College snapped the Marist College women's basketball team three game winning streak with a 67-40 win today in Jersey City, NJ. The Red Foxes never led in the game and were down 30-18 at the half. Marist now stands at 4-3 overall and 1-1 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, while St. Peter's improved to 6-1 overall and 2-0 in the MAAC.
Senior Diesa Seidel (Red Hook, NY) led the Red Foxes with 11 points and seven rebounds.
St. Peter's received a game high 24 points from Felicia Harris who also added eight rebounds.
Despite out shooting the Peahen's from the floor .327 to .314 the Red Foxes hit just 6-11 from the foul line compared to St. Peter's 17-19 performance. Marist also committed 20 turnover to just six for the Peahen's.
The Red Foxes will take the next two weeks off from action for final exams before returning to the court on Saturday, December 22nd when they host Delaware at the McCann Center at 2:00 PM.
