Providence, RI - The Marist College Women's soccer team suffered a 2-0 defeat to host Brown today in Providence, RI.

The score stood tied 0-0 at the end of the first half as neither team could find the net. Brown finally broke through at 66:14 when Julie Herrold scored on a penalty kick. Kim Lanzire netted a goal just 30 seconds later to provide the final margin.

Junior goalkeeper Mellanie Nai (Suffield, Conn) saved 15 shots on the day for Marist.

The Red Foxes will be at home on Leonidoff Field for their next game this Sunday September 30th when they take the field against Maine at 12:00 PM.
