Poughkeepsie, NY - The Marist College women's soccer team was defeated 4-0 today by Maine on Leonidoff Field.

Maine received a goal from Katie Hodge to take a 1-0 lead at intermission. Kim Walsh, Annie Hammel, and Kate Crawford added goals in the second half for the Black Bears.

Red Fox junior goalkeeper Mellanie Nai (Suffield, Conn.) recorded 10 saves on the day for Marist.

The next game for the Red Foxes will be this Wednesday October 3rd when the travel to West Point, NY and face Army at 7:00 P.M. They will be at home under the lights on Leonidoff Field this Friday October 5th at 7:00 P.M. when they welcome fellow Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference member Manhattan.
