JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) - Sean Kennedy had 16 points and 11 assists to lead
Marist to a 71-49 win over St. Peter's on Wednesday night.
Marist (9-3, 3-0 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) led by just four at
halftime, but outscored St. Peter's by 18 in the second half to coast to the
win. Kennedy had nine points and seven assists in the second half.
St. Peter's (1-10, 0-3) took an early 5-point lead, but Marist went on an
18-6 run and led 31-27 at halftime.
Nick Eppehimer had 13 points and Rick Smith and Brandon Ellerbee had 12
apiece for Marist. Ellerbee hit 4-of-6 shots from 3-point range.
John Corien had 15 points and Kamaal McQueen added 11 for St. Peter's.
