Jersey City, NJ - The Marist College volleyball team traveled to St. Peter's on Thursday night and lost to the Peahens 3-0 (30-22, 30-18, 30-24). The loss drops the Red Foxes to 6-15 on the season, and 1-2 in the MAAC. St. Peter's improves their record to 4-12, and 1-0 in MAAC play.

Michelle Turley (Stevensville, MI) and Christina Brozek (Fair Lawn, NJ) led Marist with 10 kills apiece. Courtney Pusko (Cheshire, CT) hit the ball well for the Red Foxes, recording nine kills and a .438 hitting percentage for the match. Meghan Cochrane (Placentia, CA) added 36 assists and seven digs.

Tzvetomila Dotcheva led St. Peter's with 18 kills and 11 digs on the night. Ludmila Kechina added 16 kills for the Peahens.

The Red Foxes return to action next Wednesday, October 16, when they travel to New Britain, CT to face Central Connecticut State for a 7:00 p.m. match.
