Poughkeepsie, NY - The Marist College volleyball team shutout conference foe Rider 3-0 (30-27, 30-21, 30-22) on Saturday afternoon at the McCann Center. The Red Foxes (8-15, 2-2) won their second consecutive match, and four out of their last six. The Broncs fall to 4-16 on the year, with a 0-3 record in the MAAC.

Aline dos Santos (Sao Paulo, Brazil) led the Marist attack with 16 kills, five digs, and four service aces. Christina Brozek (Fair Lawn, NJ) added 12 kills for the Red Foxes. Courtney Pusko (Cheshire, CT) and Michelle Turley (Stevensville, MI) each had nine kills, with Pusko hitting .615 for the match. Meghan Cochrane (Placentia, CA) pitched in with 41 assists and nine digs on the afternoon.

Jaclyn Levi led Rider with 13 kills on the day, while Laura Berger tallied 28 assists and nine digs.

The Red Foxes continue play at the McCann Center this weekend, when they host Loyola at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 20th.
