Lawrenceville, NJ - The Marist College men's soccer team won their fourth match in a row, defeating Rider 1-0 on Friday afternoon. The Red Foxes improve to 5-7-1 on the season, and 4-1 in the MAAC. The Broncs drop their record to 4-8-1, and 0-4 in the MAAC.

The two teams played evenly throughout as Rider only outshot Marist 15-13. David Musinski (Hicksville, NY) scored his first goal of the season, which turned out to be the game-winner for the Red Foxes, on a header in the 75th minute. Bruno Machado (Danbury, CT) picked up the assist on the play.

John Balzarini (Holbrook, NY) continued his strong play in goal with his second shutout of the season to go along with four saves.

The Red Foxes return to action on Sunday, October 27th, when they travel to Baltimore, MD to face Loyola at 1:00 p.m.
