Poughkeepsie, NY-The Marist College women's soccer team tied Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) rival Loyola 0-0 in double overtime today on North Field.

In what was a rematch of last year's MAAC Tournament Championship game, Marist held the undefeated Greyhounds to just eight shots on goal. Senior goalkeeper Mellanie Nai (Suffield, Conn.) made eight saves for the Red Foxes, recording her fourth shutout of the season. Erica Niemann made three saves for Loyola.

Senior Lissa Johnson (Hartford, Conn.), Kelly Smith (Waldwick, NJ), sophomore Laura Clark (Syracuse, NY), and freshman Elizabeth Egan (Shelton, Conn.) each had a shot on goal for the Red Foxes.

Marist returns to action Tuesday, October 29th, when they host Iona in a make-up game on Leonidoff Field at 7:00 p.m.
