Riverdale, NY - The Marist College volleyball team traveled to Manhattan and lost to the Jaspers on Tuesday night 3-1 (28-30, 30-24, 30-17, 30-18). With the loss, the Red Foxes fall to 6-14 on the season, and 1-1 in the MAAC. Manhattan increases their record to 17-1, with a 1-0 record in MAAC play.

The Red Foxes were able to take the first game, 30-28, but were unable to overcome the Jaspers, who have won 17 matches in a row this season.

Aline dos Santos (Sao Paulo, Brazil) led Marist with 11 kills and 12 digs. Courtney Pusko (Cheshire, CT) added eight kills for the Red Foxes while Jennafer Espie (Rhinebeck, NY) recorded 16 digs.

Goedele Van Cauteren led Manhattan with 17 kills and eight digs. Amy O'Dorisio added 14 kills and 22 digs for the Jaspers.

The Red Foxes return to action on Thursday, October 10th, when they travel to Jersey City, NJ to play St. Peter's at 7:00 p.m.
