Poughkeepsie, NY-The Marist College volleyball team lost by a score of 3-1 (30-25, 14-30, 23-30, 20-30) to the Fairfield University Stags at the McCann Center this evening. This match concluded conference play, making the Red Foxes 3-6 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) this season.

Freshman Meghan Cochrane (Placentia, CA) broke the single-season school record for assists with 987, while the team set the school record in assists for a season with 1, 212.

Michelle Turley (Stevensville, MI) and Courtney Pusko (Cheshire, Conn.) led the team with 13 kills each, while Aline dos Santos (Sao Paulo, Brazil) had 11.

The Red Foxes return to action Saturday, November 9th, when they host Robert Morris in the final game of the season. Marist will then head down to Orlando, FL for the MAAC Championships on November 16th-20th.
