Loudonville, NY---The Marist College women's tennis team defeated Siena College, 4-2, in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) contest this afternoon, in Loudonville, NY. The Red Foxes improved to 9-3 overall and 5-1 in MAAC play.

In singles play Amanda Doetsch (Freehold, NJ) captured the victory at number two singles over Andrea Disponzio, 6-2, 6-4. At number four singles Courtney McGeever (Wickliffe, OH) beat Brooke Fisher in three sets, 7-6 (7-5), 2-6, 6-2. Jennifer Edwards (Baldwinsville, NY) won easily at number five singles against Victoria Dunham, 6-3, 6-0. Kathryn Szymanski (Scituate, MA) had the win at number six singles against Eileen Gallocher, 6-2, 6-2.

The singles matches decided the outcome of the match and the doubles matches were not contested.

The Red Foxes return to the courts tomorrow afternoon, April 10th, as they travel to Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT. The action is set to begin at 3:00 p.m.
