Annapolis, MD-The Marist College women's soccer team fell to Navy, 8-0, tonight in Annapolis, MD. It was the Red Foxes second consecutive shutout, and third loss in as many games.

Stacy Finley opened the scoring for Navy in the second minute, and Amelia Sheveland scored four goals and registered an assist on the night. Jeanne Cameron put two in the net for the Midshipmen. Rounding out the scoring, Navy's Katie Eames scored on a penalty kick in the 71st minute.

Marist was outshot by Navy 32-5. Goalkeepers Mellanie Nai (Suffield, Conn.) and Meredith Fabain (Merrick, NY) had six and seven saves, respectively.

The Red Foxes return to action Sunday, September 15th, when they host Providence at 2:00 p.m. on Leonidoff Field.
