Poughkeepsie, NY - The Marist College volleyball team finished with a 1-3 record at the Marist Invitational after falling to Hartford 3-0 (30-12, 30-26, 30-23), and Akron 3-0 (30-22, 30-22, 30-23). The Red Foxes are now 4-11 on the season.

All-Tournament Team selection Aline dos Santos (Sao Paulo, Brazil) led Marist with 23 kills and 13 digs on the day. For the tournament, dos Santos had 51 kills and 42 digs. Meghan Cochrane (Placentia, CA) had 49 assists in the two matches while Jennafer Espie (Rhinebeck, NY) added 21 digs for the day.

Akron won the tournament by posting a 4-0 record and was led by All-Tournament MVP Sandy Lewis who had 55 kills over the four matches for a .300 hitting percentage.

The Red Foxes return to action on Saturday, September 28th, as they travel to Syracuse for a match with the Orangemen at 2:00 p.m.
