Box Score

Buffalo, NY - The Red Foxes return to the Hudson Valley with two wins in their pockets as they defeated Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference rival Canisius 2-1 today. Marist has not lost a single game on the road thus far this season.

The Griffs would be the first on the board as they scored six minutes into the fist half off a header by Ibrahim Yusuf. The game would then go into over time, however the Red Foxes quickly ended the game after one minute of play when freshman midfielder Keith Detelj (Sayville, NY/Connetquot) one timed it to Machado who chipped the ball over the keeper for the game winning goal.

Detelj still leads the Red Foxes with 14 points behind five goals and four assists while Machado holds steady with nine points behind four goals and one assist.

The Red Foxes will be in action once again on Saturday, October 18th when they host MAAC rival Siena at 7:00pm
