Albany, NY - The Marist College women's cross country team finished eighth out of 20 schools at the 37th annual Albany Invitational today. The Red Foxes will have the next week off as they prepare for the MAAC Championships on Friday, October 31st.
Senior Jenn Rosenblatt (Naugatuck, CT/Naugatuck) led the Red Foxes with a 16th place finish clocking 18:32 over the 5,000 meter course. Freshman Allison Kline (Wilbrham, NY/Minnechaug) and freshman Rachel Watson (Brick, NJ/Msgn.Donovan) placed 40th and 43rd respectively with times of 19:07 and 19:51.
Rounding out the top 100 was senior Cheryl Norris (Schenectady, NY/Guilderland) who finished 58th, freshman Bernice Patten (Pearl River, NY/Pearl River) 78th, sophomore Christine Peltier (Albany, NY/Colonie) 59th and sophomore Mackenzie Klump (Fayetteville, NY/Fayetteville-Manlius) 84th.
