MONTGOMERY, N.Y. – The Marist women's cross country team turned in a strong team effort to take fourth place at the 2025 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships, hosted by Manhattan University at Twin Ponds on the Farm.

The Red Foxes packed their top five tightly, all finishing within 26 seconds of each other, to score 125 points, behind Quinnipiac, Iona, and Sacred Heart.

Freshman standout Abigail Kowalczyk led the charge for Marist, placing 21st overall with a time of 21:52.9 over the 6K course to earn All-MAAC Rookie Team honors. Parker O'Brien followed close behind in 22nd at 21:55.6, while Emily Litke (24th, 22:01.9), Julia Zydanowicz (26th, 22:07.7), and Mallory Holloway (32nd, 22:18.9) rounded out the scoring five.
