Poughkeepsie, NY - Marist College men's soccer encountered a d?j? vu when they dropped to Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference challenger Fairfield 1-0 tonight which was the same out come of last seasons face off between the two rivals. This was the Red Foxes last home appearance of the 2003 season.

The game was a stalemate throughout the first half as each team had just three shots on goal. As the Stags and the Red Foxes faced off for the second half both teams were intent on a win as the ball was drilled form one side to the next. The lone goal of the game came at the 52:53 minute as junior back Danny Ambrosio (Oak Hill, VA/Oakton) took a rebound shot into the Red Foxes net.

Junior Mike Valenti (Sicklerville, NJ/Paul IV) would go the distance collecting four saves on seven shots on goal.

The Red Foxes will travel to Jersey City to dress the Peahens of St. Peter's on Friday, October 31st at 3:00pm.
