Derby, CT- The women's freshman crew fared well at the Yale Freshman Invitational 'Demolition at Derby' with two boats placing 11th and 13th.

The Marist 'A' boat finished in 11th place with a time of 16:41.2, just one-tenth of a second behind the Dartmouth 'B' boat. The Marist 'B' clocked a time of 17:06.6 for 13th place, finishing two seconds behind UConn.

Boston University 'A' took first place with a time of 14:38.8, while Yale finished second with a time of 15:07.4

The women's crew team has concluded competition for the season and will next hit the water in March when they travel to Clemson for Spring Break. The Red Foxes will be back in the New York area on March 27 as they head to Cornell to face teams from Ithaca, Rochester, Michigan, Buffalo, UMass.
