Lawrenceville, NJ- The Marist College women's basketball team fell to the Rider University Broncs 63-53 tonight at Alumni Gymnasium. The Red Foxes fall to 11-13 overall and 7-8 in conference action.
The Red Foxes came within four points twice, but were unable to overcome the deficit, which was as much as 14.
Maureen Magarity (Wappingers Falls, NY) tied her career-high with 23 points, while grabbing seven rebounds. Junior forward, Stephanie Del Preore (Livingston, NJ) finished with 11 points and seven rebounds.
The Red Foxes shot 29.1 percent from the field, while the Broncs shot 37 percent.
Marist returns to action Friday, February 21st when they host Manhattan at 7:00 p.m. in the McCann Center.
