Poughkeepsie, NY-The Marist College women's tennis team defeated conference rival St. Peter's, 6-0, this afternoon. The Red Foxes improve to 10-3 overall and 5-2 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play.

In singles, Yana Tikhonko (Brooklyn, NY), Diana Perachio (Newtown, Conn.), and Kathryn Szymanski (Scituate, Mass.) all swept their opponents 6-0, 6-0. Freshman Tara Dolan (Hopewell Junction, NY) defeated Priscilla Davies, 6-1, 6-2. Courtney McGeever (Wickliffe, OH) was victorious in her match over Jen Myerson, 6-0, 6-2. Colleen Kelly (Poughkeepsie, NY) won 6-1, 6-3 over Jen Tango.

The Red Foxes return to action Tuesday, April 15th, when they host Siena at 2:00 p.m.
