West Point, NY - Marist volleyball would start the final day of the Army Tournament with a 3-1 loss to Yale but would rally for a 3-0 win in their final game against Sacred Heart. The Red Foxes are now 3-8 on the year.

Junior setter Amy Gillespie (Lebo, KS/NE Oklahoma A&M) led the Red Fox attack with 18 kills and 16 digs against Yale while freshman outside hitter Stefanie Miksch (Austin, TX/James Bowie) added 11 kills and 14 digs to the Red Fox effort. Sophomore outside hitter Jaime Kenworthy (Aston, PA/Cardinal O'Hara) posted a team high four aces while classmate libero Katie Lux (Wantagh, NY/Sacred Heart) had 19 digs on the game. Sophomore setter Meghan Cochrane (Placentia, CA/El Dorado) chipped in 42 assists to finish out the Marist attack.

Kenworthy collected a team high 14 kills and 13 digs in the win against Sacred Heart while Gillespie added 11 kills, 13 assists and 12 digs to the Red Fox effort. Cochrane came up with 26 assists while Miksch dropped six aces in the opponents' court.

The Red Foxes are back in the McCann Center on Wednesday, September 17th when they host Wagner at 7:00pm
