Bronx, NY - The Marist College women's cross-country team placed third out of 10 teams to compete in the Iona Meet of Champions today at Van Cortlandt Park. Princeton took first place honors with 15 points while Cornell came in second with 55 points.
Senior Jenn Rosenblatt (Naugatuck, CT/Naugatuck) was the top finisher for Marist crossing the finish line in 6th place clocking 23:34. Freshman Rachel Watson (Brick, NJ/Msgn. Donovan) and Allison Kline (Wilbraham, NY/Minnechaug) were the next two Marist finishers clocking 24:37 and 24:58 respectively.
The women's cross-country team will next compete in the Metropolitan Championships on Friday, October 3rd.
