Men's Soccer Shuts Out Niagara 1-0

Poughkeepsie, N.Y. - Sophomore midfielder Anthony Graci scored his team-leading sixth goal of the season in the 33rd minute as the Marist Red Foxes (5-4-0, 2-0-0 MAAC) defeated visiting Niagara 1-0 today at Leonidoff Field. Marist tied a school record with its third consecutive shutout.

Senior goalkeeper Mike Valenti made one save to record the shutout. Valenti has not allowed a goal in his last 351:18 of play.

Senior co-captain David Musinski assisted on Graci's goal.

Marist out-shot the Purple Eagles (2-8-1, 0-0-1 MAAC) 25-9. Eric Sullivan made nine saves for Niagara.

The Red Foxes are back in action Saturday, Oct. 16 at MAAC foe Siena. Game time is 1 p.m.
