Men's Soccer Beats Siena 1-0 in Double Overtime

Loudonville, N.Y. - Marist junior forward Bobby Van Dyke scored his first career goal as the Red Foxes downed host Siena 1-0 in double overtime today. The Red Foxes set a school record for consecutive shutouts with their fourth straight blanking.

Van Dyke scored off a pass from junior midfielder Kyle Nunes in the 107th minute to extend Marist's winning streak to four games. The assist tied Nunes for the team lead in that category.

Senior Mike Valenti made three saves in goal for the Red Foxes (6-4, 3-0 MAAC). Patrick Henry made six saves for Siena (1-7-4, 1-1-1 MAAC).

The Red Foxes are back in action Friday night at conference foe Fairfield. Game time is 7 p.m.
