Nov. 1, 2004

Poughkeepsie, N.Y. - 10 members of the Marist men's cross country team have been named to the 2004 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Academic Team, the conference office announced Saturday. The Red Foxes placed third at the MAAC Championship meet on Saturday.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution, be a significant starter or reserve and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.

The nine Marist student-athletes named to the team were seniors Christopher Camp, Will Colucci, Geoff Decker, Nathan Parenti and Sean Prinz, along with juniors Sean Prinz and sophomore Matthew Walsh.

Camp, Colucci, Decker, Guarascio, Prinz and Taylor also earned the honor in 2003.
