BUFFALO, N.Y.- The women's basketball team had its four-game winning streak snapped falling to Canisius 64-51. With the loss, the Red Foxes (12-9, 8-4) move into a three-way time for first place in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) with Canisius (13-8, 8-4) and Niagara (14-7, 8-4).

The Griffs opened the game on 12-2 run, but the Red Foxes countered with a run of their own, pulling with three on a layup by Maureen Magarity.
