Poughkeepsie, NY -- Continued rain in the Poughkeepsie area has forced the Marist College Department of Athletics to cancel more contests on April 1st, the second straight day for cancellations. The baseball game versus Central Connecticut has been postponed, and the women's lacrosse game versus Sacred Heart has been canceled with no make-up date.

The Red Foxes softball team was forced to cancel a double-header with Harvard at home on Wednesday, and the baseball team did not travel to Hartford for its Wednesday scheduled game.
