Pittsfield, MA -The Marist College men's and women's crew teams traveled to Pittsfield, MA to row at Lake Onata, but were able to only complete two races before the wind forced the cancellation of the days events.

The men's varsity eight led its race by over two boat lengths as the race was finishing, however an oarsmen was thrown from the boat prior to the finish line.

The women's varsity eight rowed well, but could not overcome a strong crew from Williams College, in its race.

Both teams will be in action Sunday morning, as they look to defend their Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference titles in New Rochelle, NY.
