Marist Women's Rowing traveled to Lake Coventry, CT on Saturday to race crews from UConn and Sacred Heart. Once the fog was lifted, the morning turned out to be perfect for some early spring racing. Thank you, UConn, for hosting and to all crews for some great racing!
The 1^st Varsity 8+ consisted of coxswain Ariana Novero, Anna Fedders, Kora Eckelman, Amelia Nelson, Megan McGowan, Natalie Ronan, Kaleigh Tompkins, Abby Deane, and Anna Coppola. '
Final Results: MARIST 6:54.5, UCONN 6:59.4, SHU 7:01.5

The 2^nd Varsity 8+ consisted of coxswain Carina Pascucci, Gianna Angelucci, Shelby McDougall, Anna Iannucci, Katie Beichert, Lillian Iannaccone, Caitlin Bartman, Elena Waldbillig, and Jenna Jaffe.  
Final Results: UCONN 7:18.4, SHU 7:15.8, MARIST: 7:18.2
 
The Varsity 4+ consisted of coxswain Grace Foley, Breanna Schwager, Grace Stoner. Sophia Warburton, and Gabi White.

The 3^rd Varsity 8+ consisted of coxswain Brooke Dini, Charley Coward, Ashleigh Coyne, Cali Tigar, Maddie Lombardi, Ella Manion, Stella McGinty, Sydney Macchia, and Charley Brown.  T

The 2^nd Varsity 4+ consisted of coxswain Lillia Thomas, Elizabeth Klik, Courtney Clark, Maddie Fracasso, and Elisa Huget.

Coach Tom: "After the long winter it was nice to finally be back on the racecourse. The team felt confident in the work they have put in so far and the results indicate some good potential with each crew having plenty of room to gain speed as the season progresses. We are excited knowing that we will see over 20 schools, including UConn and SHU again, next week at the Cooper River."
