Results

Worcester, MA- The Marist College women's rowing team enjoyed a very successful final day at the ECAC National Invitational earning two top finishes on Lake Quinsigamond this afternoon. Point totals have not yet been calculated and will be posted as soon as they become available.

After a winning their first heat of the day, the Red Foxes were victorious in the metro varsity four grand final finishing with an outstanding time of 7:56.901, nine seconds ahead of the runner-up Villanova (8:07.295). Colgate (8:13.589) took third, Buffalo (8:19.822) placed fourth, University of Massachusetts (8:24.388) placed fifth, and the University of Rhode Island (8:24.956) took fifth.

In the metro novice eight grand final, Marist took second in a time of 7:17.421 three seconds behind winner UMass (7:14.516). The Red Foxes edged URI (7:18.579) for runner-up.

Marist is back on the water June 3-5th as they compete at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association Regatta held in Camden, New Jersey.
