ST. BONAVENTURE, NY - The Marist women's soccer team lost to Bucknell, 1-0 at the St. Bonaventure Tournament this afternoon. The Red Foxes were allowed just three shots on the day, while their defense held the Bison to eight.

Both teams were scoreless throughout the first half, trading possessions and corner kicks, with the Bison taking three and the Red Foxes two. Bucknell got on the board at 62:00 in the second half, when Meaghan Ferris capitalized on one of the Bison's five second-half corner kicks, finding the back of the net off a feed from Ashley Dincher.

Sophomores Deirdre Murray and Jenna McCrory and senior Courtney Moore each took a shot for the Red Foxes, while sophomore goalkeeper Danielle Cibelli picked up four saves in 90:00 minutes of play.

The Red Foxes will next be in action on Sunday, Sept. 12, when they face the host Bonnies at 2:30 p.m.
